“Live in the moment.”

“Live in the Moment”

Loads of Love, Yoga

My moments are wonderful but fleeting at best! My mind soon moves to evaluating whether this is how it feels to be in the moment. I am hungry - what should i have for breakfast - how about a butter croissant, guess will settle for poha! Chandni you should come back to the moment! Let me focus on my breath or let’s assume that I am sitting in a meadow, in a valley overlooking the mountains; how lovely was that holiday in Uttrakhand? No no i need to comeback!!

To be honest this is my struggle quite often when I am trying to practice yoga. I have improved quite a bit over the years but the struggle is real on some days.

I started practicing yoga 2 years ago to recover from a shoulder injury and I wish I had found yoga sooner. It takes a while for one to truly realise the amazing things that yoga does to your mind and body and to find that connect with the practice. Once you tie in with yoga it is a great source of positive energy and all that flexibility is just an added reward.

What I have realised is that its okay not to be in the moment always, but when you do find yourself truly immersed in the moment stay there for a while and I promise, you will emerge out of it light hearted.  As good as, after a glass or may be two of Rosè! 😉
